At Coverdale Farm there are quiet bridle paths that run through the
farm, and many quiet lanes on our doorstep. We are located on the
proposed route of the Pennine
Bridleway.
There are excellent hacking and trail riding opportunities
with stunning landscapes and breathtaking views. Quiet country lanes and
Bridle paths lead from the farm and we have a selection of local OS maps
which can be borrowed. Close by are riding schools, and equine
events, see below for details.
We have stone built stables with automatic water bowls and tie
rings, secure tack and bicycle storage, and outdoor washing facilities.
We provide good quality haylage/hay and shavings. Paddock grazing is
available (subject
to weather conditions). On site there is an outdoor ménage with jumps and
horse walker.
We have ample parking facilities for horse boxes and
trailers.
A short drive away are three cross country courses and the famous Equine Therapy Centre at Rathmell as well as endless places to ride amongst some of the most attractive countryside in Britain.
